Latest Cake designs

As some may know, I am contemplating launching a cake design biz. Still looking into some of the details of this...and deciding if I really have time for it at this juncture in my life. The thing is, I REALLY enjoy it...but it is something that makes a big mess and requires attention - which is hard to do when you have a child who also makes a big mess and requires a lot of attention! HA. Anyway...who knows what will come of it. I am having fun in the meantime and getting some practice by doing some cakes for friends and friends of friends at low rates. Here is the one I made last weekend! It was for a 7 year old girl having a "pink flamingo" themed party. This is the one I did for a 9 year old girl who loves to play soccer the week before. And this is one that I am particularly proud of. I made it for my sisters birthday in March. She loves Tweety Bird so I made the Tweety out of colorflow for her. Everything on the cake is edible. New Blog website

Okay...so I am going to try this whole blogging thing yet again. I have done a couple of blogs in the past..but really, I don't think I have much of a talent for this whole journaling thing. I don't really have much to say that would be of any interest to anyone - but I guess we will see if anyone reads it anyway. :) Yesterday was such an awesome day! We began the day by attending service at our church Allen Bible where we did the parent commissioning ceremony for our precious 9 mos old Addison Faith Breen. I had to speak and tell the significance of her name...just a short 2 min or less thing. So I did, but what came out wasn't very eloquent - not like I had in mind. But I guess the point got across so that is all that matters. Addison was, well, her usual self. She talked (babbled) through the ENTIRE process and clapped her hands wildly from time to time as well. I heard rumblings of laughter here and there .. she just couldn't stay still or quiet. Oh my......
