We had a WONDERFUL start to our Easter weekend festivities! We started off by heading out to Irving Bible Church with the fabulous V family. There was an Easter Egg Hunt - an Easter Bunny - a display showing the "Easter path" (really wish I could have taken the time to go through that more in depth...perhaps next year when Addison is a little older and can understand more :)) - a petting zoo and bounce houses! Addison had a BLAST and Shayna and Haven enjoyed some time alone wandering around (thus why they are not in more of the pics - though I do have a few that I will add of them tomorrow that are on my camera...these are from Debi). We finished up the afternoon in Irving by having lunch and fabulous hang time with our friends Greg and Cari! We had an amazing time over there and got lots of giggles while Shayna sang songs on a Wii game and Addison (whom we thought was taking a nap upstairs in her playpen) destroyed their Texas Tech Red Raiders guest room - oops! Last weekend we had a small circus - Carson and Bailey - come to the grand metropolis where we reside. Since it was only 3 minutes or so from our house I thought this sounded like a great idea for a family outing. We had a great time! Addison's favorite part by far was the petting zoo. We bought some food and let her feed the goats and lamas (is that how you spell it?). All was fun and exciting -- until the Goat SNEEZED!

Addison is absolutely enthralled with everything that has to do anything with her big sister. She calls out to her all day long at home "Shayna!" "Shayna!" "Shay Shay!" We love it! Last week when we had about 8 teenage girls in the front room all hanging out waiting to go to cheer and getting ready Addison ran to the side of the pool table and put on "Shay Shay's" ballet flats and started walking around in them near where the girls were. One of the girls then put Shayna's sunglasses on her and she couldn't have been happier about it. She pranced around in Shayna's big girl stuff and tried to hold her own with the girls. So precious!

Haven't felt like blogging much these days. I've been sick and just plain not feeling great even when I'm well. Then there is the chasing of the toddler and the two rounds of cheer tryouts for Shayna (school squad then competitive squad) - I'm just spent! For those few who read - sorry for not posting more often. I will get back in the swing of things here soon and have a cute video of Addison dancing to American Idol's Danny Gokey to post when I do. :) Till then....

Here is a precious moment I managed to catch on film before we left Cracker Barrel on our way home from Kentucky.

We just returned from a trip to Wilmore, KY where we attended Steve's (second?) cousin Andrew M.'s wedding to the beautiful Katy S. This was an amazing trip and a beautiful celebration of a marriage that is truly Christ centered. We wish Mr. and Mrs Andrew McKeown a very happy, very long life together! Here are some pics of Addison from the weekend - Our photos of the actual wedding/reception would not do the beauty of the day justice so I won't be putting those on here. :)
