Pool Time

Yesterday my friend Sharee dropped off her precious 8 month old son Tristan while she went to a dentist appt.
I was lucky that he didn't nap the whole time (he usually takes a long nap during the hours I had him).
When he woke up he was crying but instantly dried his tears when I picked him up and brought him downstairs.

Addison however....not so happy! She saw me holding the baby and started crying and pointing at the floor saying
"NO NO - MY Mommy! Baby DOWN! Mommy HOOOOLD you! Baby Down!!!"
I couldn't help but laugh and feel sad for her all at the same time. She's just not used to sharing me with a baby! haha
She did warm up quickly though and even cheerfully helped me by feeding Tristan his bottle while I changed his diaper! So sweet!



I'm thinking Tristan may not have been enjoying this as much as Addison did. ;) He didn't cry though...sweet little man!

When Sharee got back earlier than planned we decided to let the kids take a quick dip in the kiddie pool! It was a really hot day - so we couldn't stay out for long - but it was precious while we were out there. Thanks Sharee for sharing your little man with us and for staying to let the kids take a short swim. :) I enjoyed my time with you too!

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! Fall visit to Aroboretum

Addison and I had a great visit to the Arboretum with Ashely and her kids Grayson and Presley. I think we did more picture taking than we did playing this time...but it was a fun day and the weather was beautiful! I am looking forward to going again soon!
