Questions…
1. What were you doing 10 years ago?

Oh my gosh...like I can even remember back that far. Let's see...I would have been barely 24 - which means I was a single parent with a 4-1/2 year old baby girl...Shayna. If she was 4 that means we had just moved from Houston to Dallas and we were living in a loft in Downtown Dallas just across from the Majestic Theatre. I was working as a Nanny for two precious little girls Ellen and Anne and also spent a lot of time doing both paid and volunteer work with the kiddos at First Baptist Downtown Dallas.

That would have been the summer before I started back to school working on my degree in Biz Admin. I had just stopped dating a guy that I had barely started dating in Houston before I moved and was casually dating a guy here in Dallas that I had been seeing off and on for a year or so at that point. I was definitely hoping things would go somewhere with that relationship...things did heat up a little...but it never was a "relationship" that was "to be".

2. What are 5 things on your to-do list today?

• Grocery shopping

• clean my desk and go through all the mail that came in while we were in San Fran
• Unpack from San Fran

3. What are some snacks you enjoy?

• Chocolate and Peanut butter ice cream from Baskin Robbins
• Craisins
• Chocolate chip cookies
• Quaker Oats caramel rice cakes

4. What would you do if you were a billionaire?

Well now...where do I begin! I would definitely buy a great house (not like the one I'm in now isn't great...but ya know..If I was a billionaire I would def want a few things in my home that aren't in this one). I would also buy a TON of new clothes and shoes. Expensive, stylish, amazing shoes! LOTS of them!

I would also give a great big chunk of change to Allen Young Life. I would want them to have a building that they own and could have plenty of space to grow in, & I would want them to have a nice fat scholarship fund that could last them several years so no student would ever miss out on the opportunity to go to YL camp!

I would also find a great piece of land somewhere around here and donate that along with the money to build a church home for Allen Bible Church. Then...since I have billions...I would pay off the pastors personal homes as well.

I don't think I would tell anyone that I did any of the above things (other than my own home of course haha)... I would just find ways to do them anonymously cause it is more fun to do stuff like that and watch the results without the recipients knowing that you did it. Giving is so much sweeter when people don't know that you are the one that gave. :)

5. What are 3 of your bad habits?

Ugh...I have a million of them...pick something and it's probably a bad habit of mine. :rolleyes: Hmmm...I will go with these though -

Talking...a lot! I always tell myself before I am around people that I am going to listen more than I talk. That I don't need to inject stories that their stories remind me of...but then I get there and end up doing it anyway. I just talk...talk...talk.
My mom used to sing a song to me...something like "You talk to much, you worry me to death"...oops...guess it started when I was little and I never "fixed" that bad habit.

Reading "trash" mags or blogs! I just can't help myself...I want to know what celebrity's are up to. I want to know what they are wearing...what they are doing..who they are dating, what they named their kids, who's doing drugs and what drugs they are doing, etc. I just LOVE reading this trash. I don't even know why I care...but I do... :)

Being Nosy! I am the nosy neighbor, sister, daughter. I just "need to know" what is going on in peoples lives and almost always have an opinion about it and how they should handle it. I'm brazilliant like that. All knowing Dayna can fix the worlds problems ... if only people would LISTEN to me (Duh)!!! But how can they when I talk so much!?! They can't decide which parts to listen to and what's just me talking to be talking! lol

One of these days I really hope to move the heck out of Texas. On that day...I am sure I will be totally thrilled...and yet totally sad too...cause...well, I am a Texan like it or not. lol

8. What is currently playing on your IPOD?

Well, at the moment it is not on...but in/on the way to/on the way home from San Francisco I watched the entire 3rd season of Weeds on it.

I usually read a lot of Murder Mystery type stuff...but this year my goal is to read the Bible all the way through for the first time ever. So this is all I read or else I wouldn't finish.
