Progress
My bathroom is going to be a slooooowww process I have a feeling. I am so full of ideas - so full of "what if I do this?" or "what if I try that?" that I am almost immobilized at the moment. I have made some progress though!
All of the carpet, linoleum and wood tacking has been pulled up and the room has been swept several times now. I even had to pull off the side of my jacuzzi tub in order to get some of the carpet and taking up. But I did it...and I did it ALL BY MYSELF!
It is time to enlist my husbands strong and "hopefully" willing arms now though. I need all of the baseboards to come up and out of the room(s). I am also still toying with the idea of yanking the carpet out of the closets too. That one is a tough decision though. If I don't do it now, it's kind of a forever hold your peace sorta deal - but I also kind of like the idea of walking into my carpeted closet with just a nice wood threshold between the bathroom and that room. I really want to do my bedroom floor too - but WHOA NELLY! One step at a time Dayna. :)
This is some serious work - and I knew that going in since it is now my fourth floor to do this to - but I have big plans for this one and I want it to be very different than my other three. I just hope I can pull it off the way I am envisioning it.
