Applesauce


   After lunch today - and by lunch I mean that Addison had thrown most of it onto the floor or  directly into the dogs mouth - I decided to give Addison some Applesauce to make sure she      was nice and full before nap.  After about two bites she had had ENOUGH of me feeding it to     her and FLATLY REFUSED to eat anymore unless the spoon was in HER hand.  Fine...I give up - have it your way I decided.  So I handed her the spoon and the bowl of applesauce.  

                             The pictures will tell the rest of the story.  Such a big girl. :)  
                                                 First you put the spoon in the applesauce
                                                    Then you put the spoon in your mouth!  YAY!
                                                               Mmm....This is yummy!  

                                                  
                                                     That wasn't so hard...I'll do it again!

                                        Hmmm...Maybe my fingers would be faster than the spoon, let's try!

                                 Oh, I know - drinking it out of the cup will be even FASTER!
         
                              One empty applesauce cup and a messy face later, she was done.

Oh my gosh this is too funny! I just took a video of Paddy doing the same thing, only with mac n cheese with tuna mixed in (gotta sneak in those meats somehow)! The only thing he added, which I did not get on video, is when he put his face in the bowl like a dog! :) I will post it soon, I am too tired today!

That is so funny!! It reminds me so much of when the girls were this age. It's sooooo much fun!!

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! The funniest part of the whole thing though is how Addison has made up this whole scenario to help her with the pooping thing. Fall visit to Aroboretum

Addison and I had a great visit to the Arboretum with Ashely and her kids Grayson and Presley. I think we did more picture taking than we did playing this time...but it was a fun day and the weather was beautiful! I am looking forward to going again soon!
