Cinnamon sorta morning

This morning I was chopping veggies for a vegetable beef stew and talking to my mom on the phone while I was doing that.  We have gates up that prevent Addison from going any further than the family room and kitchen - so I sorta forgot to pay real close attention to her during this time.  I would just glance up and make sure she wasn't into any trouble and then back to what I was doing.  I saw that she was playing with what I thought was her toys - so I wasn't concerned.  Then, suddenly I realized when I looked up again that her "toy" was a can of ground cinnamon from the pantry.  She had opened it and had shaken all of the contents onto the love seat, sofa and floor in the family room.

I wish I had taken a picture because it was really quite funny!  She was covered from head to toe in BROWN cinnamon dust - pjs, face, hair - all covered in brown including the white sofas. haha.  I am really glad we own leather furniture and have stained concrete floors right about now.  The trusty dustbuster (ty Stephanie R.) came to our rescue and a few minutes later + one change of clothes all was back to normal.

Just another day in the life with Miss Addison - the destroyer. She's too much fun to be boring.

So cute! I thought I've heard all the kid stories, but never have I heard about a kid covered in cinnamon. Hilarious! :-D (Good thing it wasn't on carpet! :-O )
