Wii

I probably mentioned in a previous post that Santa was quite good to us this year and brought us a Wii - along with my sweet husband buying me Guitar Hero (I'm still not sure how he knew what Santa was bringing us ;)).  

Well, I really wanted a Wii Fit big time!  However, that is apparently the gift that everyone else in the world wanted too cause for a very long time now they were nowhere to be found.  Not that it mattered so much to me when we didn't have the Wii - but now...I was getting impatient.  

Everywhere I went I just had to ask if they had one - I was even registered on amazon.com to get a text when they got one in stock.  Sure, I could have paid a jacked up price and gotten one on craigslist or Ebay - but I refused to give in to the greed of someone else by lining their pocket with easy money for something they were lucky enough to find.  I can be more patient than that believe it or not.  

Well, Tuesday I was in Gamestop here in Allen and about to buy a used copy of World Tour.  When the cashier dude asked me the standard "will that be all for you?" I started giggling and said - yeah...unless you have a Wii Fit stashed away somewhere.  Would you believe that his response was - ACUTALLY, I HAVE A COUPLE IN THE BACK!

       WAY!!!!

I was soooo excited that I didn't even think about it I just pulled the trigger and figured this was my chance and if Steve got mad at me for yanking out the money gun I could be one of those low lifes who jacks up the price and sells it for a profit afterall. haha.  But of course, my dear sweet husband did not care one bit and was thrilled for me that I had found one.  :D  

Here I sit, three days and three workouts later - with aching buns and aching thighs - and I'm thinking ROCK ON!  This thing must be working!  YES!  

Not only am I feeling the burn, I'm LOVING the workouts - it is so much fun to do my yoga, strength workouts and balance training with the wii!  I officially understand what all the hype was about.  This thing is the bomb diggity and I'm not even lying!  If you have a wii - and you have contemplated buying this DO IT as soon as you can find one!
