A Day at the Zoo


We had a wonderful day at the zoo with the Howard clan!
This is our day as told by the pictures.


Addison, Gavin and Grayson when we started the day


Addison thought the giraffes were cool

She was not scared of the Monitor...I was a little though ;)

She went for a ride on a big lizard and gave him "love loves" when she was saying goodbye.

We played in the park by the children's zoo - as usual Addison loved the slides

She also discovered the tunnels that you climb through

I don't think she liked sharing "her" tunnel very much

I am fairly certain that petting the bunny rabbit was her favorite part

Great big Koi fish were pretty to watch

We finished off our day with a ride on the Merry Go Round

Addison enjoyed her Zebra ride!

We had such a great time...she didn't even seem phased that we went well past her nap time before heading home. There was just too much fun to be had to worry about things like naps. :)

your hair looks good! I'm impressed the lack of nap didnt bother her oh and I love the little rosie cheeks and nose =)

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! The funniest part of the whole thing though is how Addison has made up this whole scenario to help her with the pooping thing. I think it was either Sunday or Monday night that she was sitting on the potty going poop, and I was gathering the clothes for her to get dressed for bed. She started hollering, "Mom, Mom! Fall visit to Aroboretum

Addison and I had a great visit to the Arboretum with Ashely and her kids Grayson and Presley. I think we did more picture taking than we did playing this time...but it was a fun day and the weather was beautiful! I am looking forward to going again soon!
