Tuesday - November 25th

Today was a wonderful and relaxing day.  We all woke up smiling, had some breakfast and just enjoyed being at the lake and with each other.  It was still just mom and dad plus Addison and I.  
Addison took a nice long nap this afternoon in the RV while mom and I played chicken foot (a domino game) and dad obsessed over getting the cable television working at their campsite.  
At this I have to laugh a little, cause we are - you know - CAMPING! Can we really not go without the TV for just one more day until Debi and Jeff arrive and we have a TV in their cabin?  haha.  I think more than anything it was just giving my sweet daddy something to do all day.  

After a lot of work on the cables and several conversations with the park managers, they (the park managers) decided to let us use Debi and Jeff's cabin for the day/evening so we could watch TV. :)  I took advantage of that and decided to take a nice hot bath and give Addison a good bath (the RV only has a shower and the site we were at didn't have hookups for sewage, etc so taking a shower very often over there would have filled their tanks really fast - with no place to drain them unless they moved the RV).  

A few hours later Debi and Jeff called to let us know they were on their way in an evening early!  YAY!  We were happy to see them early get a night with them before Jeff's parents and one of his sisters arrived.  

It was a great day again!

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! The funniest part of the whole thing though is how Addison has made up this whole scenario to help her with the pooping thing. I think it was either Sunday or Monday night that she was sitting on the potty going poop, and I was gathering the clothes for her to get dressed for bed. She started hollering, "Mom, Mom! Fall visit to Aroboretum

Addison and I had a great visit to the Arboretum with Ashely and her kids Grayson and Presley. I think we did more picture taking than we did playing this time...but it was a fun day and the weather was beautiful! I am looking forward to going again soon!
