Drop in day care ROCKS!

I left Addison at a child care facility today that allows drop ins and you just pay them by the hour.  Let me just say first off that I LOVE THIS PLACE!  The fact that I can pay them for even just one hour during the day is awesome!  I don't have to worry about how I will be able to make a hair appointment or doctor appointment anymore.  I now have a place that when the going gets rough...the mom can still get going!  

Today, I had a hair appointment.  It was just a simple trim up and change the bangs a bit thing, so it only took about 20 minutes.  When my appointment was over I came home and was able to actually get some work done!  I got the dishes unloaded and reloaded, the stuff in the dryer all put away, moved stuff from washer to dryer and started a new load.  I dragged out the Christmas tree from underneath the stairwell, and throughly cleaned Addison's bathroom which had been a little neglected lately.  I did all of this in only 40 minutes...and why was I able to do that?  Because Addison was not into everything the whole time!  She was at daycare having fun.  When I picked her up I had done all of the above plus gotten a haircut - and I did it all in less than an hour and a half!  The total cost for this was a whoping $13.15 in childcare!  

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!  I am so happy I found this place I can hardly stand it.  Now, when I need a short break...I know exactly where I will be going!  The S.S. Noah!

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! Fall visit to Aroboretum

Addison and I had a great visit to the Arboretum with Ashely and her kids Grayson and Presley. I think we did more picture taking than we did playing this time...but it was a fun day and the weather was beautiful! I am looking forward to going again soon!
