New Fall Look
I had to change up the blog a little yesterday.
I think it was time for a facelift and a fall look seemed appropriate.
Today was a good day. My fabulous friend Diana W.
came by for some hang time and brought me some lunch! Pei Wei even!
It was great to be able to hang out and just chat, no stress over whether Addison was being good or loud or throwing things. Just good old fashioned hang time. Awesomeness!
You know you are close to a person when you know they are coming over, but you still don't bother to do your hair or makeup or dress particularly nice. lol. I just knew she wouldn't care - so I didn't care! Ahhh...what a nice feeling. :)
The rest of my day was rather uneventful - just kinda did the mommy thing.
Oh...I did make some really delicious Asparagus tonight with the chicken that I cooked on the grill.
Try it out if you want sometime...super easy and super yummy!
Take 2 pounds of Asparagus and break off the tough part. Arrange them on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Spray them with cooking spray, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then bake in the oven for 15 minutes (or until tender).
During the last few minutes of their cook time take 2 T. of butter and put in a small skillet and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes or until it browns slightly. Remove from heat and add 2 T. Soy sauce and 1 T. Balsamic Vinegar - stir.
Drizzle butter mixture over Asparagus and toss to evenly coat then serve immediately!
Very Yummy!

I love asparagus! I'm totally going to try it!
My kids totally dig asparagus. It's our fave whether it's raw or steamed or grilled or cut up in salad or mixed in with alfredo sauce... yuuummy. (And we don't care if our pee is green or smells funny, though that's never happened to us. LOL)
