Headed out of town

Just a quick entry as I am on my way out the door to spend Thanksgiving at the Lake with my rents and sis! I can't wait!
However, I am not entirely sure that I will have internet service nor am I sure that I will have cell service. So, if you do not hear from me until after Thanksgiving, that is why.
I assure you I will continue preparing my posts so that I will have all days made up for when I return and you will hear all about my wonderful family time. :)

Hopefully, I will have service though and I will be able to get all my NaBloPoMo posts up on the days they are due. :)

I've been really bad about NaNoBloMo. I'm pretty sure I've missed EVERY weekend. *laugh* Oh well. I have written more this month than I think I have in the last six months, so it wasn't all bad.

Addison, as it turns out, has a great imagination (either that or there is some television show or movie that she has watched recently that I have no idea about). Beginning last Friday we potty trained Addison (hallelujah for fast learners). She has done SO well and caught on in only a day! Blue? pink? or little white pills?

We are at a crossroad in our lives.   In September I declared that I was in for ONE MORE MONTH and that was it on the baby making stuff.  We would try that month - and let the chips fall where they may.  I will be 35 in June and this is the last month that we had to have a baby "before the dreaded 35".  This has been my cut off age for wanting to have anymore kids since the beginning of this adventure.  I held out very small expectations that anything would come of it and had accepted that Shayna and Addison were it for us.  Not that I am complaining cause they are a wonderful "it" to have.  Both girls just rock my world! What will be....will be

...and so begins the next journey in our life.  We have four more years (AHHH...ONLY FOUR?) with sweet Shayna - to mold and shape her before sending her off into the great big world.  We have 17 years with Addison - and that will be it for us in the youngster department.   Today we received the bad news that my HCG levels had dropped between Monday and Wednesday.  I went from thinking about baby names one minute, to the reality that there will be no baby the next.   It is almost comical how one begins to want something so bad when they aren't able to have it.
